What to Expect

You will immediately feel at home the moment you walk in the door.

If you’ve ever gone to a social event where you didn’t know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel.  Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home.

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.

So, check us out here. Poke around. Get to know us. Then, contact us to make an appointment so we can get to know you.

First Visit

We at Curzie Chiropractic pride ourselves on a very welcoming atmosphere and staff. The well appointed office surroundings are for you! After filling out the necessary paperwork, you will meet with the doctor and discuss your health concerns. The consultation is designed to help you with your health concerns. If chiropractic is the right choice for you, we will continue with an examination which also includes a thermal scan, sEMG and postural analysis. X-rays are taken if needed in order to correctly analyze your situation.

Give yourself about an hour for this first appointment, it is usually the most important. Adjustments are not the usual on the first visit, but there are exceptions.

Regular Visits

Each and every time you enter Curzie Chiropractic, you will be greeted by our competent and friendly staff. They will get you signed in and ready for an adjustment with little waiting. Once you are established as a practice member, it doesn't take long to get adjusted. You should be in and out of the office within 15 minutes!

Dr. Todd Asks some important questions of interest to Anchorage residents - Chiropractor Anchorage Dr. Todd Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Why are frequent visits advised when starting chiropractic care?
Consistent visits at the beginning of your chiropractic care help create the momentum necessary to correct and retrain unhealthy spinal patterns. Later, Anchorage patients find that continued care on a less frequent visit schedule can help preserve their progress and avoid a relapse.
