Dr.
Todd E. Curzie is proud to be a Chiropractor serving the Anchorage
community since 1995.
A
graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic (the founding college
of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa) he is honored to have
been in the first class to graduate during the centennial
year of Chiropractic. He completed his undergraduate studies
at La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where
he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a minor
in Psychology.
Dr.
Curzie is also an inaugural member of the Palmer Legion of
Chiropractic Philosophers, a prestigious degree obtained to
continue to uphold the founding principles of Chiropractic.
Dr.
Curzie is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic
Examiners and holds a license in both Alaska and Pennsylvania.
He has completed specialty fields of study and training in
spinal and skeletal disorders, radiography, whiplash and spinal
trauma. Dr. Curzie is a member of the International Chiropractic
Association, the American Chiropractic Association and the
Alaska Chiropractic Society. He is an authority in the detection,
correction and prevention of the vertebral subluxation complex
(vertebral lesions).
Active
in many sports since childhood, Dr. Curzie's affinity for
water sports influenced him to progress from being a competitive
swimmer to a licensed scuba diver. He also enjoys a range
of indoor and outdoor recreational activities including sport
fishing, snow skiing, snowmachining and pottery. For optimal
physical conditioning Dr. Curzie is an avid weight lifter
(something he has done since his early teens) which he complements
with specific spinal and aerobic exercises. Dr. Curzie lives
life to the fullest, loves Alaska and subscribes to the concept:
"Life and Motion are Inseparable!"
When asked why he became a Chiropractor, Dr. Curzie replies:
"When I was in grade school, my grandmother asked: 'Which
one of my grandchildren will be my Chiropractor?' As a caring
grandson might do I responded 'I will grandmom!' From that
day on I knew what direction my life would follow. My father,
who is also a strong believer in a natural approach to health
and a firm proponent of Chiropractic care, encouraged me to
continue my resolve. After exhaustive personal research into
the Chiropractic field and many conversations with now fellow
Chiropractors, I became even more enthusiastic and eager to
begin my pursuit of my future as a Doctor of Chiropractic."
Dr.
Curzie is a caring and capable Chiropractor. His outgoing,
cheerful personality, combined with sensitivity and a gentle,
effective Chiropractic adjusting technique, endears him to
his patients. His radiant smile and encouraging words enhance
his total personalized health care approach to Chiropractic.
Dr. Curzie, however, stated it best:
"I
just want to be the world's greatest Chiropractor... to help
people...nothing more, nothing less!" |
